Originally from Puerto Rico, I now call Wesley Chapel, FL, home. I began my journey in the insurance industry in February 1997 as a Licensed Account Representative. Now I care for our customer at Pam Williams Insurance Agency. Fluent in both English and Spanish, I am passionate about helping customers find the right coverage for their unique needs.
One of my favorite aspects of insurance is life insurance—what I consider the last love letter we leave to our loved ones. I take pride in guiding families through these important decisions with care and understanding.
Outside of work, I cherish spending time with my family, reading, watching TV, and cooking. My greatest joy is doting on my two puppies, Bella and Luna

Shannon Schlafer
Hi I'm Shannon Schlafer. I was born and raised in North Carolina, and I still call the Tarheel State my home. I began working on the insurance industry in 2019. In 2020, I began working for State Farm in a local agent's office in North Carolina. This is where I really began to fall in love with insurance and educating our insureds about what insurance can do to protect them and their families. In 2022 I was presented with the opportunity to change roles within State Farm and support our agents throughout the country by assisting their in-office team members with their administrative needs. Pam Williams was the first agent I began working for in this new role and I have loved every minute of working with her team and her customers.
When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband of 23 years, my two adult daughters, my grandson and our 3 wonderful pups! I also enjoy serving at our church, restoring furniture and traveling.
